BANQUET TICKET AND DOOR PRIZE RULES: 1. We (SportsmenForTots.org, herafter SFT) sell tickets to an annual Fundraising Banquet in support of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. The tickets to the banquet are for sale online on this website. Each ticket purchased will guarantee the holder a seat at the Banquet and a chance at any door prizes that may be available. Each ticket entitles it's holder a reserved seat and nothing more. Any food and/or beverage consumed by individuals at the banquet shall be the responsibility of the individual. SFT Banquet Ticket holders are NOT required to participate in the door prize drawing if they so choose. To opt out of the drawing, please indicate your intent at the time of banquet ticket purchase. 2. No hardcopy printed or paper "tickets" will be issued to the ticket purchasers. Each purchaser's name will be entered into a document by SFT organizers in order to determine the possible attendees for the banquet. In the event there is an error with the list, proof of online donation or presentation of a personal check to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation coordinator on location shall serve as proof of purchase. Door Prize Winners will be chosen by drawing at the dinner, time and location to be announced on aldeer.com. As banquet admission ticket sales grow, ticket numbers (cooresponding to hard tickets that will go into the door prize drawing) will be assigned and will be shown on the updated list at sportsmenfortots.org. The ticket numbers shown are the actual numbers of the hard tickets that will go into the door prize drawing for random selection at the dinner. The first name drawn will win the most valuable prize and will go down the list of prizes. The winning ticket numbers that are drawn will NOT be included in subsequent drawings by removing the winning tickets as they are pulled. For example, if Joe Smith purchases 5 seats at the banquet for $50, then a total of six ticket numbers with Joe Smith's name will go into the "hat" for the door prize drawing since he purchased 5 and got 1 free. If Joe wins a prize on the first pull, then he only has 5 more chances of winning another prize - NOT the original 6 that he started with. 3. Prizes offered as door prizes at the banquet are the sole responsibility of the person who donated that door prize. Winners of the door prizes will be announced via a post on Aldeer.com in the General Forum in case all ticket holders are not able to attend in person. An SFT coordinator will send out an email to each door prize winner with the contact info of the donor to arrange pickup or shipping of the item. 4. SportsmenForTots Banquet Ticket Prices: $10 per ticket. For every $50 you donate, you will get one "free" ticket. 5. Drawing for door prizes will be held at the banquet, DATE TIME AND PLACE TO BE DETERMINED. All ticket holders are guaranteed a seat at the banquet. Any individuals wishing to attend the banquet can do so without a ticket, but no seats will be guaranteed without a ticket purchase. All ticket holders and non-ticket holders wishing to attend the dinner will have to confirm their intent by making a formal seat request to the SFT banquet coordinator. Contact Andy at andy@sportsmenfortots.org to confirm your seat. No person will be turned away who wants to attend. 6. All mailed banquet ticket purchases must be postmarked on or before Saturday December 12th, 2009. The deadline for online banquet ticket purchases via Credit Card or Bank Transfer is 5:00 pm on Monday, Dec 15th, 2009. All online donations collected will be converted to a Certified Bank Check on Tuesday, Dec 16th, 2009, and will be made out to "Marine Toys for Tots Foundation". The check will be brought to the banquet location. The check will be presented to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation (4/14th USMC) in Bessemer at the banquet. 7. Door Prize Winners can be anywhere in the United States and their item will be shipped to them (typically at their expense, to be worked out with the prize donor) with the only excpetion being the firearm(s). The winner of any firearm(s) must be at least 18 years of age and must be able to pass the Federal Background Check and must be able to legally take possession of the firearm(s) as their own property. 8. Now for the legal mumbo-jumbo: Banquet Tickets and Door Prizes have no cash value and door prize winners cannot choose the corresponding cash value as compensation in leiu of any prize. Door Prize Winners are responsible for claiming their prizes and may be responsible for any shipping or delivery charges that are incurred if they choose to have the item shipped. Aldeer.com, it's owners, representatives, administrators, moderators, and members are NOT responsible for the coordination of this Fundraising Banquet. All parties involved are donating items and volunteering time and are not compensated in any way. All banquet ticket purchases made online will have the transaction fees AUTOMATICALLY deducted by the processing company. Transaction fees are a cost of making the online transfer of funds and will not be added into the total that will be donated at the conclusion of the raffle. The total donated BEFORE transaction fees are subtracted will be used in determining the eligibility of the number of tickets to be issued. In leiu of online donations, cash, check, money orders and certified funds will be accepted. All money raised (minus fees) will be donated to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. No warranties or guarantee of any kind are included for raffle items. Banquet Door Prizes are offered as-is and the recepients agree that they have no legal action of recourse in the event that they are not satisfied with thier prizes. You must be 18 to purchase banquet tickets and to claim any door prizes. You must be legally able to possess and/or own any of the door prizes in order to claim them. Odds of winning depends on the number of banquet tickets purchased by any one individual and also the total number of tickets purchased overall. Any banquet door prize winner that does not want their prize may elect to donate it for public auction with proceeds to be given to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.
